In early 2015, I began an information design poster based on my collection of comics. I collected data for the 911 comics I had at the time, and more than 10 data points on each of those comics, from creators to genre to publishers to if it’s signed and many more. On top of this data, I also surveyed a large number of people that went on to be used for two of the graphs and were used in correlation for another graph on the poster. From this data, I searched for all of the various connections that could possibly have occurred between them all and created many different infographics from each of these. There are various network graphs, bar graphs, typographical stats, a radial bar graph, and many more. The poster, once finally printed, stood at 30 inches wide and 40 inches tall. Here is a look at the poster and a close-up view of some of the infographics within it.
