For my internship my sophomore year, I worked with the Boston Herald. There, I did design layouts for various articles in the paper. I did work on various sports, red carpet events, and other things. A lot of my focus was on the New England Patriots around the time of the play-offs in January 2014. Here are a couple of examples of pages that I did everything for. Even with a limited choices to work within the design system of the Herald, I worked with the word spacing, image selection and cropping, and every other aspect of the layout’s design.
